Proficiencies
Alpha Beta
Another award I received during the 2011 school year is the Alpha Beta award. This is awarded to a student who is voted on by school staff to be the most well rounded individual; the student is strong in a wide selection of skills including academics, leadership and community service. I was the recipient of this award for the class of 2011.

Technical Proficiencies
All of the above listed proficiencies only really outline my academic proficiencies. I feel that I am also proficient at non-school related items. An example of this is I feel that I am proficient at performing routine maintenance on automobiles. In the video to the left, I am showing how to change the oil in a car, again for speech class. The award below shows that I also was proficient in working on small engines.

My Eagle Project
The final proficiency I feel I have attained is my work on my Eagle Scout Project. I feel as though I demonstrated my ability to work cooperatively with others and to plan work on a large scale and execute the work as it needs to happen. This required a lot of planning in advance and required a lot of effort on my part. I feel that I can call this a proficiency because I am confident in my ability to do this planning and execute these decisions. |
Dual Enrollment
I had the opportunity this year to take college classes this year through Mid Michigan Community College. This is the online copy of my transcript which shows that I have earned a 4.0 grade point average from the classes I have taken. |
